Tregging Blues

Mapping its journey from leggings to jeggings and finally an elegant uptrend- treggings have been a wardrobe staple! Treggings are basically a cross between trousers and leggings with all the benefits of comfort, sleeker silhouette, ankle slimming length and the thickness of a trouser.

Apart from being 100% functional, treggings look beautiful on your curves and yet slimmer round your thighs. More over, you don’t need to cover your butt in these (ruling out the fashion faux pas: leggings-as-pants). 

Pairing them with a sleek pair of heels and a sling bag will definitely make you look gracious always.

You can wear your treggings with a tank top and a blazer to office; or with a tunic to college or go monochromatic *a favorite* like I did in my outfit of the day!

TROPICAL PRINT MAXI DRESS

Maxi dresses are made for warm days in the sun, the beach and music festivals, however you can also wear it for lunch or movie dates. It is 100% feminine and despite the large swathes of fabric, very sexy. 

My dress today is such a perfect summer maxi with tropical prints on it.  

Contrary to popular belief, you need not be tall and waif-like to carry off this summer wardrobe essential. Simply pick the right fit and accessories to make it work for you. If you wish, you can also wear a pair of stylish heels with it just like I did for my outfit today. I have added a pop of color with a solid colored bag from London FOG.

Floral Inspired Abstract Prints

As much as we love a "Goes-With-Everything" solid button-down, there’s something exceptionally chic and of-the-moment about tops in bold floral prints. 

What will will interest you more about it is, that small to medium prints like these confuse the eye, so they are great in camouflaging your problem areas.

Floral Printed tops are my spring and summer staple.

The key to style this print is layering it over something simple like dark denims, for a casual day out. I wore a nude belt and teamed it up with a grey metallic bag to finish my look.

You can wear such prints with a sleek skirt or a trouser for office, or simply wear them with your favorite pair of denims for a lunch date !

Style tip: Don’t crowd your look with more bold prints, as they will try to overpower each other and make you look messy.

White and Denim

Like a diamond, some things stay forever. In fashion, such styles are called classics. Both the white T-shirt and blue denim has been a wardrobe staple for years now. So what makes one feel this style to be timeless? Of course it’s minimal and easy charm. Also the versatility – if you style it right, you can wear a white shirt and blue jeans anywhere as your day look. 

If you still think white and denim is boring, add a bubble of color to your look. It could be a stylish bag or some accessories. You can also wear heels, boots or try prints on your footwear and accessories. I have kept it quite casual in my outfit today.
