As a young girl, summer smelt like BBQ chicken and chlorine. Now, it smells like Gucci and Chanel. Shopping for summer clothes is a blast, but probing fragrance counters for your perfect match can literally bring on the migraine of the season. With several classic scents ranging from floral to Oriental notes, a woman can define her personality by the perfume she wears. A fragrance can evoke femininity, sensuality, exoticism – or all of the above.
One thing we think is an interesting way to take it is to think about what makes you really happy— what do you love to do in the summer? Do you love to be in your garden, do you love to be on the patio having cocktails, do you love going to the beach? And if you think about what makes you happy and what you’re tasting and smelling and experiencing in those places, it’s a good way to start when choosing a fragrance.
